Hi, I'm Andrew — a software engineer and product leader based in Newport, Wales. Over the past decade I've built web applications, APIs, real-time systems, and SaaS platforms for startups, agencies, and enterprise clients across the UK and beyond.

In my day role, I'm VP of Product & Customer Enablement at Talkative — an AI-powered omnichannel contact centre platform. There, I lead Voice AI integrations with Mitel and a range of other PBX systems, and build the tooling that allows Talkative to connect with external systems such as CRMs, ticketing platforms, and enterprise data sources. It's a role that sits at the intersection of product strategy, engineering, and customer outcomes.

My core development stack is Laravel and PHP on the back-end — I'm a Laravel contributor and comfortable taking applications all the way to serverless scale with Laravel Vapor. On the front-end it's Vue and Tailwind, with Node.js and TypeScript filling the gaps for real-time systems, APIs, and tooling. I'm equally comfortable on AWS and Azure, and most things I build end up running on one or the other, wired together with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Outside of enterprise work, I support a handful of smaller businesses with their day-to-day IT infrastructure — from hosting and domain management to internal tooling and integrations. Drewdan Limited is also the vehicle for my own R&D and SaaS products, including SimpleSocket.io.
